BAROQUE THEATRE COMPANY, one of the country’s most acclaimed independent professional touring theatre companies, have just announced their spring/summer national tour of comedy thriller TWIST.
TWIST receives its world premiere on Friday 27th April–Saturday 23rd June 2018 taking in 17 venues across the country including The Cotswold Playhouse, Stroud, Artrix Theatre, Bromsgrove and New Wimbledon Theatre, London.
Set in the 1990’s in South Kensington, London, TWIST tells the tense but hilarious story of mild-mannered accountant David who sees a sensational way of making a fortune by writing a kiss-and-tell biography about his venomous wife Sarah. However, the play takes a turn when David realises that the book will do even better if Sarah, the nation’s favourite celebrity from hit soap Doctors and Nurses, is actually murdered!! How will he do it and just what will happen?
TWIST is written by Miles Tredinnick a rock musician, songwriter and a stage and screenwriter who has written for the hit BBC 1 television series Birds of a Feather and the late great Frankie Howerd. Miles is also known as Riff Regan, the founder member of the rock-band London.
TWIST, directed by award-winning director Adam Morley, is a slick, stylish, edgy thriller with specially selected music and echoes of Tarantino’s hit film Pulp Fiction that will have audiences guessing until the shocking end.

Wells (Robert Woods/Inspector Root) credits include Porthos/Richelieu in the 17/18 new adaptation of The Three Musketeers (National Tour); Richard III (Windsor Globe), Lucentio in The Taming of the Shrew (Chapterhouse).
